CS 580: Algorithmic game theory, Fall 2025

Announcements

• Practice exam is released. Solutions will be posted at a later date.

• Project report format: Reports must be up to 6 pages without references for single person projects, and up to 8 pages without references for two person projects. All content beyond this page limit can go into the appendix. For the document, try to use a single column lncs format. 

• Project report submission: Reports are due on 12th December, 11:59 pm CST. Please submit on Gradescope.

• Homework 3 is up on Gradescope, and due by 17th November, 11:59 pm CST.  (.tex)
• Homework 2 is up on Gradescope, and due by 15th October, 11:59 pm CST.  (.tex)
• Homework 1 solutions are available. 
• Course project information is released, and the summary is due on September 25th, 11:59pm CST. You can submit on Gradescope.
  • It is highly encouraged to work in groups of two. You can find a rough timeline for the entire course project here.
  • For the summary, please submit a 1-page pdf or doc containing:
    • Project title (research / survey)
    • Group member name(s)
    • Project summary (at most 500 words), along with a concrete goal for the project.
    • At least three relevant references (papers)
  • You can find a list of suggested topics here.
• Homework 1 is up on Gradescope, and due by 18th September, 11:59 pm CST.  (.tex)
• Homework 0 is for self-study and not for submission/grading. We encourage you to go through the problems as a warm up for this course. Feel free to discuss it in the office hours.
