ECE 342: Electronic Circuits

Exam I:

  • Date: Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in 1002 ECEB (Grainger Auditorium).

  • Conflict Exam: TBA.

  • Bring pencils, eraser, and a handheld calculator.

  • No cheat sheet allowed, you will be provided with a formula sheet in exam: Formula Sheet

  • Practice exam: Fall 16

  • Solutions to Midterm I: Soln

  • Exam I will cover materials from homwork 1-3

  • Requests to regrade Midterm I MUST be made in writing and MUST be submitted before 5 PM on Thursday February 23. You should staple your written request to your midterm exam; then, drop the packet in the class homework box or hand it to your instructor.

  • Regrade requests should be submitted under (only) two circumstances: (1) If the points earned were added incorrectly. (2) If you solved a problem correctly but it was marked as being incorrect. In this case, you should demonstrate why your solution is correct.

  • Please do not waste your time (and the professors’) by asking to have more points awarded for an incorrect answer. All of the exams were graded using a common rubric and we cannot score one student's exam differently from the others’.

Exam II:

  • Date: Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in 1002 ECEB (Grainger Auditorium).

  • Conflict Exam: Contact instructor as soon as possible if you need to take conflict exam, request made after 12 noon on March 27 may not be accommodated.

  • Bring pencils, eraser, and a handheld calculator.

  • No cheat sheet allowed, you will be provided with a formula sheet in exam:Formula Sheet

  • Exam II will emphasize materials from homwork 4-7

  • Requests to regrade Midterm II MUST be made in writing and MUST be submitted before 5 PM on Wednesday, April 12th. You should staple your written request to your midterm exam; then, drop the packet in the class homework box or hand it to your instructor.

  • Requests to regrade Midterm III MUST be made in writing and MUST be submitted before 5 PM on Monday, May 1st. You should staple your written request to your midterm exam; then, drop the packet in the class homework box or hand it to your instructor.

  • Regrade requests should be submitted under (only) two circumstances: (1) If the points earned were added incorrectly. (2) If you solved a problem correctly but it was marked as being incorrect. In this case, you should demonstrate why your solution is correct.

Final:

  • Combined exam: Monday, May 8th, 8-11AM in 1013 and 1015 ECEB. Each student's room assignment will be provided on May 3 – next Wednesday.

  • Conflict exam: Tuesday May 9th, 8-11AM in 3015 ECEB. May 3rd is the deadline to request permission to take the conflict exam. You must email your section's instructor and offer proof that you have a university-recognized reason to take the conflict.
