Exam Information

Physics 211 exams are scheduled to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday evenings  (exam 1 is 9/20, exam 2 is 10/18, and exam 3 is 11/15).  The exams are written to be completed in one hour, but all students are allowed to stay for up to 90 minutes. If you are unable to attend the 7 pm exam, you may sign up for an alternate time in the course gradebook.  If you have testing accommodations, please coordinate with DRES to set up a time to take your exam. You must bring your ID, a pencil and a calculator.

We recommend that you take the practice exams, as if they were a regular exam (e.g. on your own, using only the formula sheet and calculator), and then study the questions that you got wrong, or were uncertain about.  Note that in smart.physics when you submit your answers it provides information about the fraction of students that got that answer correct.  Be sure that you are very confident in your ability to answer (and even explain) problems that had class averages above 75%.
