- Project meetings: We will have our next project meetings sometime next week. The sign up link is here
- Final exam date: The final exam for our course is scheduled for Dec 11 in the afternoon. Given the NeurIPS dates (6-12 in Sydney, 9-12 in Atlanta and Paris), which several students and the TA plan to attend, let's see if we can find a date when everyone is available. Please fill in this Google Form as soon as possible to indicate which date (s) and time (s) work for you in the week after the fall break. You have until Oct 23 EoD CT to fill up this form. If you do not respond, then we will assume that all indicated dates are fine with you; the form is non-anonymous to the instructors.
- If we do not converge, then by default the exam will take place as scheduled, and those who are at NeurIPS will have to take it remotely over Zoom -- I will need documentation from them showing they are at NeurIPS.
- Homework 2 is available on Gradescope and is due by October 15, 11:59pm CST. (.tex)

Project Check-In: Ruta will be meeting with each project group for 10-15 minutes on October 1st and 2nd to briefly discuss your project plan, progress, and any potential bottlenecks. For planning purposes, please add your group members and project title for a slot in this google doc.

The slot selection is FCFS. So please do not remove anyone's entry. If we get to know of such an incident (which we can get from the file edit history), there will be a grade penalty.

- Course project information is released, and the Project Titles and Descriptions are due by September 25th, 11:59pm CST. You can submit on Gradescope.
- It is highly encouraged to work in groups of two. You can find a rough timeline for the entire course project here.
- For the summary, please submit a 1-page pdf or doc containing:
- Project title (research / survey)
- Group member name(s)
- Project summary (at most 500 words), along with a concrete goal for the project.
- At least three relevant references (papers)
- You can find a list of suggested topics here. These are only suggestions, and you should feel free to pick a topic outside of this list as far as it is related to AGT.

- Homework 0 is for self-study and is not for submission or grading. We encourage you to go through the problems as a warm-up for the course. Feel free to discuss them during office hours.
