Exams

Exams constitute 80% of the course grade. There will be a total of 5 exams. Four non-cumulative exams, called midterms, will be held during class time. An optional cumulative final exam will be held according to the final exam schedule determined by the registrar. Each counted exam (midterm or final) will carry 20% of the final grade.

All exams will be closed-book (except reference sheets – see below), paper-based, and administered in class during the usual lecture time.

There will be no conflict exams. The exam-drop policy is there to accommodate circumstances leading to extension requests. Please do not email the staff with any conflict exam requests.

Grading: Exam grades will be released on Gradescope. You may request a regrade within seven days of the date the grades were released.
