about Python by reading the documentation.
- Most of the required readings in this course will be drawn
from the second (brownish cover) or third (online only so far) editions of the
Jurafsky and Martin book. Do not get the first edition (white cover), since it is significantly different from the second and third one.
- The ACL
anthology contains a large number of NLP and computational
linguistics papers. Those of you who need to do a research project or literature
survey should start here!
- The ACL web is also a
good place to look.
