Welcome, we are so glad you're here! It is going to be a great semester in TE 200.
What is the purpose of this course?
TE 200 exists to welcome you into the amazing entrepreneurial ecosystem here at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! We do that by working to build your innovation toolbox, introduce you to resources available to you at the ILLC and across campus, and providing you with time to work on a fun project with other amazing innovators.

Idea Fair Details!
- When: Wednesday, December 11th
- Schedule:
- 4:15 Student registration and setup opens (all students must arrive by 4:45pm, but the earlier the better)!
- 5:00 Judging begins!
- 7:00 Award ceremony
- 7:45 Event concludes
- Where: Illini Union ABCLinks to an external site.
- Who: All TE 200 students! Attendance at the entire event counts as your "final exam", and so is mandatory unless you have a pre-approved and formal reason why you need to miss part or all of the Idea Fair. If you need to be absent please discuss with your instructor beforehand and also submit an absence form on Canvas. You are welcome to invite friends and family!
- What to Wear: Business casual
- What to Bring: Your team's trifold poster, any prototypes or visual aids, a laptop or device to view any digital visual aids on, any other supplies or materials you want at your table (you should plan on not having access to an electrical outlet)
- Prize Pool: Your team can win awards from a prize pool! All teams are eligible. (However, you do not need to win a prize in order to have a successful Idea Fair Project!)
