Course Grading
The grade in this course will be based on the following two requirements:
1. Approximately halfway through the course, each student will submit a short research paper reviewing a topic of your choice on a superconductor material or phenomena. This will be due on March 25, 2021. On that day in the class period, each student give a brief summary of their papers to share their findings.
2. For the final exam at the end of the course, each student will participate with a team of other students to prepare and present a talk covering a topic relevant to the role of superconductors in the study of quantum materials, quantum sensors, or quantum computing. These presentations will take place in the final exam period assigned to this course.
Details on these assignments will be provided later in the course.
Course grading will proceed in compliance with University policy as given in Article 3, Part 1 of the Student Code.
Any discrepancies found in your student gradebook should be brought to the attention of your section instructor immediately.
