Exams
This course uses Online Proctoring through your cell phones for its exams (similar to the CBTF exams).
If you have accommodations identified by the Division of Rehabilitation-Education Services (DRES) for exams, please make your proctoring arrangements with DRES.
If you have any issue during an exam, please inform the proctor immediately. Work with the proctor to resolve the issue at the time before logging off.
Review the exam information at least a day before each exam.
Please review all instructions on this website before your first exam.
The student code regarding Academic Integrity still applies.
Forbidden:
- Please do not allow anyone else in the room with you. If this is not possible, please let your proctor know before the beginning of the exam and do not communicate with any other people during the exam.
- Please do not switch off the Zoom video on your phone.
- Please do not leave the room during the exam.
- Please do not access any sites/applications on your computer other than gradescope.
- Please do not use your phone/tablet for anything other than running Zoom for proctoring and taking photos of your paper at the end of the exam. You can't use your phone/tablet to do the exam itself.
- Please do not use a virtual background in zoom.
Please do:
- Enter the Zoom meeting at 10 minutes before the start of the exam.
- Make sure your display name is correct. (We need to know who you are!)
- Have your paper, writing utensils, calculator, and any other course-approved supplies you need within reach.
- Keep your microphone muted once the exam has begun.
- Ask the proctor any questions you have. Use private chat on Zoom after testing has started so as not to disturb others.
- If you enter the meeting after testing has started, use private chat on Zoom so as not to disturb others.
- Stop working when time is called.
Allowed materials for all exams:
- Pens, pencils, erasers, and blank scratch paper.
- A laptop for logging into gradescope to obtain your exam (the exam file will include a formula sheet given to you by us for the exam).
- A phone or tablet for running Zoom for proctoring. This may also be used to take photos of a paper exam at the end of the exam.
- You may not use a tablet to digitally ink your exam response or as scratch paper.
- A calculator (fulfilling the AP exam calculator policy, see here.)
