ECE 457 – Microwave Devices & Circuits

Exam Information

Exams in this course will be proctored online by the TA (Liuqing). Students should prepare two-device system for the exam proctoring. The violation of the CBTF policies will lead to academic integrity infractions in this course.

ECE 457 students will take a midterm exams and a final exam.

There are no scheduled make-up exams. If you have an unavoidable medical or personal emergency, an exception might be granted. To be eligible for a make-up exam, you must notify the instructor (not a TA) before the scheduled starting time of the exam, and you must fully document your absence. Students with documented disabilities must email a Letter of Accommodation (LOA) to Carleen Sacris before the first CBTF exam reservation.

All exams will be closed book, closed notes, but one A4 size formula sheet allowed (prepared by students). Electronic devices of any sort such as calculators, laptops, PDAs, cellphones, pagers, iPods or other MP3 players etc. are not permitted. If you have any issues during the exams, please inform the proctor immediately.

Students shouldn't discuss the contents covered in the tests until the next day of the exams. Students should follow the student code and any violation of the policies above may lead to 'academic integrity violation’.

Midterm Exam

The midterm exam (during lecture time) is scheduled on:

  • 10/9 10-10:50 am

If you can't make it to any regular exams, please e-mail Prof. Chen within the first week of class to schedule conflict ones.

Final Exam

The final exam (during lecture time) is scheduled on:

  • 12/9 10-10:50 am

If you can't make it to any regular exams, please e-mail Prof. Chen within the first week of class to schedule conflict ones.

Exam Regrades

If you have questions about your exam score, you must contact the instructor within three teaching days after the exam is graded.

Note that your entire exam will be regraded. This means that you may end up with a lower grade after regrading.
