There are 6 written assignments in total. All assignments are due at 23:59pm Central Time. See syllabus for more detailed schedule regarding due dates.
Written assignments are submitted through GradeScope (self-enrollment code 3P22VV; please use your Illinois email when registering on GradeScope).
In GradeScope, there will be two assignments: HWx and HWx Coding, which are written and coding parts respectively.

For the writing part, you are required to submit a PDF file. According to the policy, the homework must be typed, but you can use any PDF generator software you want (LaTeX, Word, Markdown, etc.).
Please submit the required coding files to the HWx Coding on GradeScope.
After you finish, upload your PDF solution to GradeScope.
Some questions are related to the coding assignment. Note that you don't need to upload your Python code to the writing assignment part.
Feel free to discuss the assignments at the concept-level with other students, no specifics.
All solutions should be written individually.
Do not show other students your homework. (This includes Campuswire. Do not post partial code or solutions.)
Be sure to acknowledge references you used.
Copying from other students / online sources or letting other students copy your work will result in a 0 for the assignment. A second attempt of cheating will result in grade F for the entire course.

It is your responsibility to read this policy to avoid any misunderstanding. Each student will have a 3-day grace period in total for the homework assignments. You may use this grace period for any homework assignment throughout the semester. After the grace period, late homework will be penalized 20% per day. Students with legitimate reasons (special accommodations, see below) who contact the professor before the deadline may apply for an extension.
