Changing Sections

Greetings PHYS 102,

We will begin our teleconference discussion sections this week.

Prof. Chemla & I realize that many of you are in different time zones from UIUC, and this could make participating in your participation section difficult.

If you feel you need to change your discussion section to accommodate your current time zone, you must:

1) Follow the instructions on the course website for changing sections:  https://courses.physics.illinois.edu/phys102/sp2020/changing-sections.html We will relax the rule about changing sections after the first exam.

2) You can only change into a section with available seats.  We have made this decision to ensure that students get equitable access to the TAs. It is very important that the sections not become overcrowded.

Please let us know if you have further questions.
