Theory and application of transmission electron microscopy and diffraction with emphasis on thin crystals; electron optics, interference phenomena, interpretation of images and diffraction patterns, specimen preparation. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MSE 405.
