For the topic of your project, choose one (or if needed more than one) paper that discusses a statistical inference problem that is of particular interest to you (e.g., arises in the area of your research). The emphasis of the project is on understanding the topic of your project thoroughly and not on original research. You will be required to make a 20 minute presentation on your project at the end of the semester.
You need to pick a topic soon. A one-page project abstract is due on Gradescope by April 2. This should include a brief description of your project and a list of relevant references.
