Mid-Term Exam II

Topics: Control/Data Hazards, Tomasulo, Support for Precise Exception/Speculation, Software techniques for ILP, and Implementation Tradeoffs
Final Exam
Date: Friday, 5/3
Time: 8--11 am
Location: ECEB 1002
Topics: The exam will cover (but is not limited to) the following: caches, pipelining, out-of-order execution, MP3/RISC-V specifics, branch prediction, multiprocessing. Additionally, topics presented following the second exam will be covered: Disk, I/O, small emphasis on GPUs/DNNs.
