Preliminary & Deadline Reports
Preliminary reports will have limited scope for the test case names and logs, but will show your final checkpoint score. These should be used to ensure compatibility prior to deadline runs.
The preliminary autograder for a given checkpoint will begin running 2 weeks before the checkpoint's due date. If the checkpoint deadline is more than 1 week away, a preliminary report will be generated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 17:59 Central Time. If the checpoint deadline is less that 1 week away, a preliminary report will be generated every weekday at 17:59 Central Time (except for the day of the checkpoint deadline, on which a deadline report will be generated).
For example, MP2CP3 is due on Wednesday, June 24, at 17:59 Central Time. There will be a preliminary run on June 10, June 12, June 15, June 17, June 18, June 19, June 22, and June 23.
Deadline reports will have full scope for the test case names and logs.
In addition to the original deadline report, you will receive 3 late deadline reports for each assignment. There will be a late deadline report 24, 48, and 72 hours after the original deadline.
The late deadline run 24 hours after the original deadline will incur a 10% penalty to your grade.
The late deadline run 48 hours after the original deadline will incur a 20% penalty to your grade.
The late deadline run 72 hours after the original deadline will incur a 40% penalty to your grade.
The score given for an assignment is the maximum of the three post-penalty scores
For example, suppose you receive a score of 120/200 points on the original deadline run, a pre-penalty score of 120/200 points on the "24 hour" late deadline run, a pre-penalty score of 170/200 points on the "48 hour" late deadline run, and a pre-penalty score of 190/200 points on the "72 hour" late deadline run. Your grade for this assignment will be 130/200 ("48 hour" late deadline pre-penalty score - 40 point penalty).
The AG Site will be for previous checkpoints to regression test and aid in fixing technical debt.
You will receive one late waiver which applies to one of MP0, MP1, MP2CP1, MP2CP2, MP2CP3, or MP2CP4. Please note that there is no late waiver for MP3.
This late waiver allows you to waive the late deadline penalties for one assignment (e.g. if your "72 hour" late deadline pre-penalty score is higher than your original score, your grade for that assignment will be the "72 hour" late deadline pre-penalty score).
No action is necessary for the late waiver. It will be automatically applied at the end of the semester to whichever assignment gives the biggest boost to your grade.
