Today we received the light switch and dimmer switch. Originally, we expected the small servo motor we have would not be strong enough to flip the light switch, but apparently we can't judge it by its size. It is also more than capable of rotating the dimmer switch, but we need to get another servo with a larger turning radius to take full advantage of the dimmer.
Next week we plan to start developing a program to make the servos act as we desired. In the near future, we need to do wiring to accept user input to control the motor.
