Smart Safety Hat - Project Overview

Hats for the betterment of mankind.... or something like that, maybe just style..... um.... ye

 

 

 

Project Description

Designing and creating headgear that provides greater security for the wearer and others around them by incorporating sensors that wirelessly stream data to a central server. This allows for threat assessment around the workplace and increased efficiency. Also allows for emergency communications between supervisors and employees.

Great creativity on this page, I like it! Remember since there are several components to this project you should tackle them one at a time (i.e. first implement a camera or one of your sensors). Once that part is fully functional, pick the next thing you want to build and so on and so forth. You can integrate all of these components at the end.

I like that you have a background research section, that is a really important step in engineering design. Maybe you could elaborate on previous accidents to narrow in the need for this helmet and focus on the highest importance accidents first.
