Announcements

  • HW2 Solutions, Review Session Handout, Review Session Handout Solution
  • As announced, the final exam is held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 8:00am.

== WHERE IS THE FINAL? ==
You will be taking the exam based on the first letter of your last name.

If your last name begins with...
A-R, you will take the final exam in 1404 SC
S-Z, you will take the final exam in 1304 SC

Both exams will begin at the same time, and course staff will be in communication between the two rooms so that any and all clarifications or announcements that may arise are announced in both rooms.

== WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE FINAL? ==
As with the midterm, you will be required to bring:
    - A #2 pencil for filling in scantron questions
    - Your iCard to verify your attendance

We're allowing you to bring two optional items to the exam:
    - A simple four-function or scientific (NOT PROGRAMMABLE!) calculator.
    - An 8-1/2" x 11" piece of paper with any HAND WRITTEN, NON-COPIED information you feel will help you on the exam. You can use both sides, but it must be written by you, it must not be typed, and it can't be a xeroxed copy of someone else's hand written notes. You will be required to turn in this piece of paper when you turn in your exam.

== WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE FINAL? ==
The format of the exam will be a series of multiple choice questions and a series of free response/short answer/fill in code questions (problems similar to HW1/HW2).

There will be at two optional TA review sessions in addition to the review Marco has done in class. The review sessions are optional and any handouts given at the review sessions will be posted on the course website.
