We're hoping you'll find this class fun and gain some very important skills.

Please start by coming to class and also exploring the menu at the top of this page. In particular, the Help section of the menu contains answers to many common questions.

Schedule

The normal weekly schedule is as follows:

• Tuesdays: Lecture/Discussion. Come to class prepared by doing readings and videos in advance, and completing a Pre-Unit Homework on PrairieLearn.
• Thursdays: Tutorial (group problem solving, attendance contributes to your grade)
• Monday-Wednesday every other week: examlet in the CBTF. See the Examlets tab above for details

The Pre-Unit Homework is normally due Monday evenings on PrairieLearn. However, the first one will be due Wednesday evening of Week 1.

Calendar and office hours

The calendar below has important events and also staff office hours. You can go to whichever office hours fit your schedule - you are not restricted to hours staffed by the TAs/CAs in your section. Be aware that office hours may change, so re-check this page for current hours and watch piazza for last-minute announcements (e.g. someone is sick).

Office hours are held in the tutoring center (central open area) of the Siebel Center lower level, unless the schedule shows some other location.
