Lecture 10 (16 February)

We did exercises on

• Identifying functions as onto and/or one-to-one.
• Building a proof with composition, onto, and one-to-one.
• Pigeonhole principle proof.
• (11am only) Functions from a square to itself.

Announcements

• Midterm coming up a week from today (23rd) in class.
• Study materials for exam are posted on the web site.
• Exam review session Sunday afternoon 2-3:30pm, in 1404 DCL.
• Remember to bring your ID card to the exam. (We do have a backup plan in case someone forgets, so don't have a panic and sprint back to your dorm at the last minute.)
