Lecture 3

We discussed some issues from the quiz, most notably:

• negation of implications
• difference between AND and if/then
• meaning of "neither...nor"

We also did exercises on

• propositional equivalences and simplifying propositional expressions
• translating English sentences into predicate logic
• [one section] a logic riddle
