Scores ranged from 24 to 60 out of 60
The median was 51 and the mean 49.5

Approximate translation into letter grades

   >= 54   A
   >= 48   B
   >= 42   C
   >= 36   D
   <  36   F

Scores are somewhat too bunched up towards the top of the curve,
which would make it hard to distinguish (say) A- from A.   So
the later exams will probably be a bit harder.   However, the
main effect seems to be that people actually did better (in
an objective sense) than in the past.  Yeah!
