Regrade Requests

We try to grade with perfect accuracy. But, of course, we are only human. Mistakes happen and need to be corrected.

Regrade requests must be submitted no later than three weeks plus one day after the work was returned in discussion. We will extend this deadline as appropriate if you have a special situation such as illness. We will also do appropriate extensions if the delay seems to be the fault of the course staff.

The deadline will not be extended if you have simply neglected to come to discussion, collect your work, check your grade on moodle, and/or submit your regrade request in a timely manner.

Uncollected work is stored in 0211 Siebel. So if you miss discussion and need to collect your work later, come to any office hour based in 0211 Siebel. Or contact your discussion TA to make other arrangements.

To do a regrade, we need to see the physical copy of your work (e.g. your examlet sheet). Do not discard your graded work until you have checked that the grade is correctly recorded on moodle.

If you believe there is a problem with grading and/or recording grades in moodle, try the following:

Staff emails and office hours are posted on the Staff and Office Hours Page. Grading assignments are posted on piazza.

If these methods have failed, speak to Margaret at lecture or office hours or attach the details of your regrade request to your work and push it under the door of Margaret's office (3214 Siebel).
