Here are the solutions to the third midterm.

The final exam will be held 1:30pm-4:30pm on Wednesday, December 18th.
We will have *two* rooms for the exams.
Room assignments are by discussion section (please check your discussion section and go to the appropriate room):

• Sections Friday 11am, 12pm, 1pm: 1320 DCL
• Sections Friday 2pm, 3pm, 4pm: 103 Mumford Hall

To help you study for the final, here is

We're not posting last term's final because its coverage was very different. However, some of the review problems were taken from it.

The third midterm will be on December 3rd, in class. Here are some review materials.

We're not supplying a practice exam from last term, because the material for this exam is awkwardly divided between last term's second midterm and final. The pertinent problems from those two exams have been incorporated into the set of review problems. The general look-and-feel of the exam will be similar to the second midterm.

The second midterm will be on October 29th, in class. Here are some review materials to help you study:

• exam from last term and its solutions . But be aware that the second midterm is a week earlier this year. So, in particular, tree induction will not be on the second midterm this term.
• 2 optional review exercises on moodle

Here are the model solutions for the exam "Potter" version and "Lincoln" version.
