Lecture 11

We proved the claim from the end of last lecture, and started looking at graphs (sections 9.1-9.6). The main focus was on isomorphisms, either between two graphs or from a graph to itself.

• Midterm: grading will take about a week. We hope to return them in discussions next week.
• Midterm solutions exist and will be posted as soon as the last makeups are done, which will be late Friday if nothing goes wrong.
• There are discussions this week.
• HW 4 and Mini-homework for next week should appear very soon.
• Honors folks: remember that the first honors homework is due October 12th.
• ACM reflections/projections conference is this weekend. Also the Veterinary Medicine Open House.
