MP Description
Download
Similar to other Excel MPs,
the data and questions for MP7 are all contained in the Excel file downloadable here.
Important Details
Requirements
You will find six multi-part questions about the data set all within the Excel file you just downloaded.
When completing this MP, ensure that:
-
Your answers must appear in cells originally provided. This means you must not add any rows or columns to the overview sheet that might move the location of those cells.
-
It is okay (and required) to add more columns of data to the data sheets.
-
You may use multiple cells to calculate the result, so long as the final answer appears in the originally provided cell.
-
When an input field is specified (in an orange cell), it must be used as part of the formula such that changing the value in the input updates the result.
-
Your file must be an Excel .xlsx file. If we are unable to open your file using Excel, you file will not be graded and you will
not earn any points. If you are not sure, you should double check that your file opens on a CITES ITS computer before submitting.
Submission and Grading
Your Excel file must open with Excel to receive any credit at all. We will award points for your program completing the following:
- 16 x 2.5pts, 2.5 points for each answer
- 2 x 5pts, 5 points for each pivot table
