Welcome to Physics 394!

We are excited that you have signed up for the LA-program, helping new students in the intro physics courses get the best possible lab experience.



First class

Classes start next week, Tuesday 1/26 at 4-5:20PM. You can find the Zoom link to the class in the menu to the left.

smartIllinois

For some of the course assignments, Physics 394 uses smartIllinois (FlipIt). Prior to the first class next week, we ask you to please complete the two surveys, “Intro survey” and “Logistics.” In the menu to the left, you can find the link to smartIllinois.

Labs

There are no labs in the first two weeks of classes.

Registration

Since registration to PHYS 394 requires Departmental Approval, the Physics Undergraduate Office has to open up the registration for each you. They are working on this and you should watch out for an email from the office.

All activities in this course, including documentation submitted for petition for an excused absence, are subject to the Academic Integrity rules as described in Article 1, Part 4, Academic Integrity, of the Student Code.
