Section Description
Solution of systems of linear and non-linear equations arising in physical models and discrete partial differential equations. Emphasis on the solution of the hyperbolic conservation equations, with applications to single phase and two-phase two-fluid model. Computational techniques and solution methods for hyperbolic equations and Riemann problem, cell-centered and staggered-grid finite volume method, primitive variable formulation, typical boundary conditions.
