Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in nuclear, plasma, and radiological engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

Decommissioning Nuclear Facilities. This course will cover decommissioning, decontamination, waste management, and environmental restoration as conducted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the International Atomic Energy Agency. The courses will include methods and procedures that will be illustrated with domestic and international case studies.
