Official Description
Introduction to mathematics and computational aspects of nuclear, plasma, and radio logical engineering; eigenvalue/eigenvector problem for nuclear reactor criticality; analytic and numerical solution of radioactive decay chain; analytic and numerical solution for particle diffusion; probability and statistics for radioactive decay and system reliability. Course Information: Prerequisite: MATH 231.
