ENG 298 INT - Foundations of Sci Research

Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in engineering intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or college course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: Approved for both letter and S/U grading. May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.

Section Description

This course is designed to provide holistic support for undergraduate students to be successful in STEM courses and prepare students for graduate school. Students will specifically be encouraged to participate in undergraduate research, coached in research practice, informed of internship and graduate school opportunities such as how to choose the right program, and how to complete a competitive application for graduate school. By the end of the course, students will have completed portfolio of documents to apply to REUs or graduate programs.
