About this course

What is this?
Adaptive and nonlinear control is a graduate-level course that covers deterministic control in the presence of large-scale uncertainty about the system being controlled. The focus will be on adaptive control and estimation, while also incorporating advanced analysis techniques for nonlinear systems, as well as connections between adaptation, learning, and real-time optimization.

Grades will be based on homework (50% total) and final presentation (50%).

Lectures
Tue Thu 12:30-1:50 pm, via Zoom (link will be posted on Piazza and sent to the class roster)

instructor Thursdays, 2pm-3pm
TA Wednesdays, 11am-noon
Homework
Due Thursdays, by the end of the day, uploaded to Compass (submission instructions).
Homeworks are released at least one week before the due date.
