Grading

Your course grade will be weighted as follows:

60% Programming assignments
20% Discussion
20% Final exam

Late Assignments

No late assignments will be accepted.

Group Work

You may discuss lecture material with each other and you may work together on the readings to prepare for the lecture-discussion. All programming assignments must be completed individually. All work you submit must be your own. AI use is permitted as described below.

AI Policy

AI use is allowed for:

Looking up information (e.g. command-line syntax),
Debugging,
Generating test code,
Generating files that are not source code (e.g. makefiles), and
Understanding the readings.

AI use is not allowed for generating code that is implementing a required part of an assignment or project.
