ECE 498 ON1 - Radio-Frequency IC Design

This course will cover basic principles of modern wireless transceiver design using integrated circuit technology at radio frequency (100 MHz to 6 GHz) for wireless communication applications, such as 5G and WiFi. Building upon the circuit skills learned from ECE 342 “Electronic Circuits”, this new course teaches analysis and design of integrated circuits that operate at much higher frequencies and for wireless communications in specific. In addition, the electromagnetic fields and waves fundamentals in ECE 329 “Fields and Waves I” will be applied to modern wireless communication systems in this new course.
