Homework Assignments
This semester homework assignments will be provided via PraireLearn.
You may complete the PraireLearn homework anytime during the window mentioned in the table below -- you should expect about 13 -15 small assignments to complete on PraireLearn over the course of the semester.
Some pointers:
- There is no penalty for attempting the questions multiple times.
- The assesments are designed so that you may attempt multiple versions of the questions for mastery.
- In most cases, you will have to correctly answer at least two variants of a question to score full points.
- The standard expectations on Academic Integrity apply. Your work must be your own.
- The in-class quizzes will be based on the PraireLearn homework assignments.
- The PraireLearn assignments are being actively developed this semester. If you find an error or mistake in the question, contact imh5 [at] illinois [dot] edu.

There are no homework extensions provided as a matter of policy due to the size of the class and the logistics involved. Instead the lowest three homework assignments will be dropped from the final grade calculations.
Testing Schedule
This semester we will have six in-class quizzes, a midterm and a final exam. The in-class quiz schedule is available from the first day of class. Therefore, make-up quizzes are not offered except for authorized/excused absences as determined by Student Code (see Article (d)). However, life is often unpredictable; therefore we will drop the lowest scoring quiz from the final grade calculation.
Students needing accommodations should plan ahead of time to take all tests at the Testing Accommodations Center. The tests may be taken any time on the day of the quiz.
