This course will have both computer exams and written exams.  Exams 1,
3, and 5 will be written exams, conducted at a time and place
specified below. Exams 2 and 4 will be computer exams, conducted at
`CBTF <https://cbtf.illinois.edu/>`_.

Exams will be closed-book, closed-notes, no calculator.  Each exam
will have a title page with formulas on it, but you will not be able
to bring your own formula sheet to the exam. 

Exam 1: Written
-------------------

Exam 1 will be a written exam, held at a date, time, and place TBA.  A
sample exam will be posted here to show you what to expect.

Exam 2: CBTF
----------------------

Exam 2 will be held at CBTF.  You will need to `register for an exam
session <https://cbtf.illinois.edu/>`_.

The exam will consist entirely of problems drawn from the online
quizzes and from the machine problems.

Exam 3: Written
-------------------

Exam 3 will be a written exam, held at a date, time, and place TBA.  A
sample exam will be posted here to show you what to expect.

Exam 4: CBTF
----------------------

Exam 4 will be held at CBTF.  You will need to `register for an exam
