ECE 343: Electronic Circuits Lab

Labs will begin during first week of classes 08/24 - 08/28. Please be present in the zoom session. We will discuss course logisitcs and questions you may have.

Download LTspice here https://www.analog.com/en/design-center/design-tools-and-calculators/ltspice-simulator.html
You will need to update the firmware on your boards by using Pixelpulse https://wiki.analog.com/university/tools/m1k/pixelpulse. Note: This only has to be done once
Download ALICE 1.1 here https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/alice/releases/download/1.1.0/alice-desktop-1.1-setup.exe
Students with Mac laptop will need to use bootcamp to install windows.
Students using Mac might also need a 16GB flash drive.
Close Pixelpulse while ALICE is open, or else ALICE will not detect your board

If you encounter firmware update issue (on your personal device), please refer to the solution below. The solution is applicable to Windows and Mac but not the machine in ECEB

The final in the course will be determined by the following criteria based on work completed in the lab and the completed lab manual.

Please save all relevant plots / screenshots.
The lab will be done in guided form on zoom. You will work with the TA and finish the lab during scheduled lab time.
You are welcome to work on the lab before the lab session if you would like to.
Ensure that TA checks your work before you log out.
