Late Policy:
Late labs will be deducted 20% per day they are late. Labs submitted three days after the deadline will be given a zero.

Course Grade:
The final grade in the course will be determined by the following criteria:

Note that each individual lab will have the same weight even though their individual points may vary. Furthermore, the Lab Report is worth 75% of each lab, while the Quiz is worth 25% of each lab. Please contact your section's TA if you have a regrade request. We will also drop each student's lowest quiz grade.

Lab Reports + Quizzes (7):
80%
Take Home Lab Final:
20%

Attendance/Quiz Policy:
Students MUST be present in their assigned section on the days when a new lab is assigned, as there will be individual, short written quizzes based on the conceptual material of the previous lab assignment, which will make up a portion of the 'Lab Reports' grade. Students are not required to attend the lab sessions on alternate weeks, but are advised to use the time to get TA for help with the lab assignments (or any questions about signal processing concepts!).

Students must arrive ON TIME to take their quiz. We reserve the right to withhold quizzes from those who come late to ensure fairness. As a general rule of thumb, students should arrive to take their quiz prior to their discussion's first few submissions. Additionally, students are expected to put away all materials including electronics and paper notes beforehand

Academic Integrity:
Plagiarism on both labs and quizzes is strictly prohibited and is subject to penalty. In other words, students are expected to write their own code, and complete quizzes without the aid of handwritten or electronic resources or cooperation with other students. University policy requires course staff to file an academic integrity report for any penalty imposed for academic integrity, so please save us (and yourself!) the trouble.
