Section Description

Teaching Computer Science at the College Level. Description: In this course, students will learn about the fundamentals of course design, assessment, and pedagogy for teaching computing at the college level. The course is aimed at preparing graduate students for the academic job market, both preparing for job talks and successfully navigating the first year as faculty. Students will prepare teaching demonstrations, homework assignments, observe excellent teachers, and write a teaching philosophy statement.
