Subject offerings of new and developing areas of knowledge in computer science intended to augment the existing curriculum. See Class Schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: May be repeated in the same or separate terms if topics vary.
Section Description
In this course, you will learn fundamental skills on how to do research (limited to SysNet, DIAS, and AI). You will learn basic research skills including: reading a paper in-depth, doing a literature search, making presentations, writing papers, and running experiments. The majority of the course will be doing a hands-on research project. Prerequisites: an upper-level graduate course in SysNet, DIAS, or AI.
