Grading

Your final grade will be based on three in-class midterms (30% each), which will be quite challenging. There may also be a final project — details to be announced.

Homeworks (10%) are provided for your practice. You are encouraged to submit them. Submissions must be:

Typed in LaTeX
Submitted as PDFs
Individual work

Full homework credit will be awarded to students who submit at least 51% of the homework problems. Submitted homeworks will be lightly graded by the TA (e.g., “seems good”, “completely off”, “what is this?”, “submitted”). If you want further feedback on your homework contact the TA. We will not provide solutions — ask your AI friend for help.

We are also looking into offering online quizzes to help motivate learning.
