Course Description

This course focuses on the technical challenges of the implementation of algorithms for perception, localization, motion planning and control and their integration into a robotic system. The topics of the course are:

  • Introduction to Robotic Systems
  • Development tools
  • Mobility Subsystem
  • Perception and State Estimation Subsystem
  • Task and Motion Planning Subsystem
  • System Integration

The students in this course will develop a solution for a specific robotic challenge while becoming familiar with all the systems that enable robots to achieve complex tasks. At the end of the course, they will be ready to engage in more advanced courses in robotics.
