CEE 419 - Transportation Economics

Official Description
Uses analytical and numerical models of decision-making to analyze phenomena such as traffic congestion, apply vocabulary and techniques from economics, and to explore ways to provide and regulate transportation. Students will write Python code for optimization, simulation, visualization and choice modelling. Engineers will gain from learning to think rigorously about the fact that the humans in the systems they design make their own choices. Course Information: 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CEE 310.
