This course prepares students to effectively communicate scientific concepts to diverse audiences. Through hands-on STEM activities, students will develop an understanding of key elements, including sparking learner interest, fostering environments for playful learning and risk-taking, connecting learning to relevant and meaningful experiences, and using materials and language that are accessible and tailored to learners' needs and preferences. Upon completion, students will be able to design and implement outreach initiatives that foster effective engagement and community partnerships.
